In order to promote the management of international students in the College of Basic Medical Sciences, a seminar was held on the morning of Jun 15^th. Guests include Dean Li Meihua, Vice Dean Sui Yining, Vice Dean Liu Yang of the College of International Education, Jin Xianglei, Vice Director of the College of International Education, and Xu Qinghui, Deputy Director of Medical Education Office. Party Secretary Wang Xiaorong, Dean Wang Fang, Vice Dean Sun Wei, Vice Dean Li Hongyan, Vice Dean Xin Ying, and leaders of relevant functional departments of the College of Basic Medical Sciences participated in the exchange meeting.

First of all, Secretary Wang Xiaorong extended a warm welcome to the leaders and introduced the overall situation of international student teaching in the college. Then Dean Wang Fang introduced the difficulties and problems faced by the management and transition of international students in the College, the plan on how to give full play to their own initiative to drive the development of international students' education and teaching, and the willingness to provide support in policy, system, and supervision.Finally, Dean Li Meihua affirmed the important role of medical students in China, stressed the need to leverage the brand of Norman Bethune as a role model, follow the spirit of Bethune, continue to serve the community, strengthen the sense of responsibility and mission of medical students, and cultivate excellent medical talents.

This symposium is an important opportunity to improve the management and education level of international students in our college, and further promote the work of international students management in the college.
